A non-contact AC voltage detector is a device that detects the presence of AC (Alternating Current) voltage without physically touching the electrical conductor or circuit. It uses electromagnetic induction or capacitive coupling to sense the voltage.
How it Works:
- Electromagnetic induction: The detector senses the magnetic field generated by the AC current flowing through the conductor.
- Capacitive coupling: The detector senses the electric field generated by the AC voltage.
